About Zoe
As a former competitive snowboarder and coach, and college volleyball player for the US Naval Academy, my practice naturally gravitates towards orthopedic and sports medicine. Working with athletes of all ages and backgrounds is my passion. For the last 13 years I have worked closely with other doctors, orthopedists, chiropractors, and physical therapists to insure thorough, coordinated care so that my patients receive the best of what modern medicine has to offer.
Incorporating this experience into my treatments enables me to effectively decrease pain, overcome injuries, and restore strength, balance and harmony to the body to increase overall wellness and to help people become physically, emotionally, and mentally strong participants in daily life.
My practice uses a holistic approach to activating our natural healing processes through the use of acupuncture, herbal medicine, diet/nutrition, and the proper fitness regimen. Additionally, I advocate educating and inspiring people to actively participate in their own path toward optimal wellness. It is my goal to assist my patients with the tools they need to understand their own bodies, thereby enjoying a healthier, more fulfilling life.
I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Emperor's College of Traditional Oriental Medicine in Santa Monica, CA., with a Masters Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and have been practicing since 2010. I am licensed by the California State Acupuncture Board, as well as a Diplomat of the National Board of Acupuncture, NCCAOM, and completed my clinical internship at UCLA's Arthur Ashe Center.
When I'm not in the office, I enjoy flying small airplanes, or playing in nature snowboarding and surfing.
